The Château de La Borde in Sologne is home to 35 rooms and suites, averaging 40m² in size. You'll find all the hallmarks of a castle : large volumes, high ceilings, large windows, spacious bathrooms... everything has been thought out to provide guests with moments of relaxation and pleasure.
The La Borde's restaurant is named "Mémoire".
A reference to memories, moments that remain engraved, like the tastes and smells of a lovely dish.
The Chef is keen to work with seasonal vegetables and fruit. As a result, the menu is short but responsible, to reflect the flavors of the moment.
It's not unusual to see the chefs filling their baskets with fresh fruit and vegetables from the castle's kitchen garden.
In partnership with Tata Harper Skincare & Alaena Cosmétique, The Spa has taken up residence in the castle's former orangery. A tailor-made setting for relaxing in the midst of nature. Sports enthusiasts can work out in the fitness room, housed in the castle's former English-style greenhouse, or on the tennis court, designed by Guy Forget, former captain of the French Davis Cup teams.
